Create a piece of ART or CRAFT with the theme “NATURE”

 

There are 2 categories - you can do one or both, it’s up to you.

 

ART (January 8th) - painting, drawing, photography, and anything else that you consider you art - it’s a wide subject and we are open to anything you can create.

CRAFT (February 12th) -anything that is made by hand and shows your skill. This could be any textile, material or anything else you can think of.. there are no rules.

 

Age categories: under 8 years / 8 -12 years / 13 - 18 years

 

How To Enter

Fill out form below 

Bring your work to be displayed to the King Alfred Hall between 10am and 11am

     Saturday 8 January 2022 for the ART

     Saturday 12 February 2022 for the CRAFT

 

How to Win

Visitors to the Art Fair and Craft Market, as well as Stallholders on the day, will be asked to submit one vote each for their favourite piece of art (January) or craft (February). 

The piece of art / craft with the most amount of votes will win.

You are encouraged to invite as many people to the event as you like to submit votes for your entry.

 

The Prizes

The winners from each age category will win... WHAT??????

The Rules

  • The booking form below must be submitted by Thursday 6 January for the ART and Thursday 10 February for the CRAFT. 

  • Your work must be brought into the King Alfred Hall between 10am and 11am on Saturday 8 January for the ART and Saturday 12 February for the CRAFT. There will be an Art Fair / Craft Market being held on this day and your work will be a part of it.

  • Visitors to the Art Fair / Craft Market will be asked to submit one vote each for their favourite competition entry between 11am and 2.30pm.

  • Votes will be counted at 2.30pm and winners announced afterwards.

  • The winner is the owner of the entry with the most amount of votes.

  • All entrants must be under 19 and should ask permission from a parent or guardian before entering.

  • The Independent Artist Group reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time, if deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside of their control.

  • There is no fee to enter the competition.

  • You can submit one entry per day.

  • You will need to collect your work before 4pm on the day of the event.
